My name is Daniel Sangi Im and I am the Groups Pastor at Beulah Alliance Church in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
This is my personal blog. It is focused on my personal reflections and insights regarding faith, culture, and ministry. I believe it’s important to not just be a consumer of one’s own culture, but to know how to dissect it, analyze it, interpret it, and change it – I love writing about culture. Furthermore, faith and ministry are so central to my life, so naturally these are the things that I’m going to be writing about. Occasionally, I’ll write about resources and different interesting, yet relevant items that I’m discovering.

My Biography
I am a Korean Canadian who was born and raised in Vancouver and have since lived and worked in Ottawa, Montreal, Korea, and Edmonton. I was an intern pastor at Ottawa NewLife Church, a Youth Pastor at River’s Edge Community Church, a Youth and Ministries Pastor at Onnuri Community Church, a writer and researcher at Durrano International, and currently the Groups Pastor at Beulah Alliance Church.
I graduated with my B.A. in Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa, and I am currently working on my M.A. in Global Leadership through Fuller.
I have been married to my wife, Christina, since 2006 and we have two children.
I love the Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment, and am in fact a Gallup Strengths Performance Coach. Here are my top themes: Maximizer, Learner, Intellection, Developer, Strategic, Achiever, Input, and Relator.
